My name is Burt McLachlan, life is great! As an experienced personal trainer, coach, fitness and aquatics instructor for over 20 years, I have worked with a number of individuals that have met their fitness and wellness goals. I have a BS in Health and Exercise Science with a pre-medicine emphasis and my certification through The American College of Sports Medicine. My experience as a Certified Exercise Physiologist has given me the knowledge, skills and ability to teach individuals about health and fitness and how to adapt to healthier lifestyles. I have worked for The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges for more than a decade designing and implementing fitness and evaluating programs for individuals with a variety of physical challenges.
With more than 2,500 track and road races under my belt, I knows how the body works. Drawing from more than 20 years of training experience in creating boot-camp classes at Cross~Stream Fitness, gathering students in a spacious indoor arena for constantly changing routines. My famous medley of cardio, strength, speed, core, flexibility drills includes lifting weighted bars, and playing volleyball to condition muscles and joints for optimal performance.
